Mission
The mission of the Anderson Valley ElderHome is to
provide the best possible care and housing for elderly
residents of Anderson Valley so that they may remain
in their community in a homelike setting which treats
all persons equally, and in a manner which insures the
dignity and independence of the individuals and
families served.
Guiding Principles
- To provide quality care
- To consider emotional as well as physical needs
- To encourage families to participate
- To be affordable to people on fixed incomes
- To operate as a community-based non-profit
Vision
We envision a comfortable, homelike building, surrounded
by easily accessible gardens, where elders can live. The
facility will provide privacy, help, meals, transportation
and an activity program that draws upon the artistic, musical,
gardening and other skills of the community.
