Fundraising

Overview
Our property presently has a two bedroom house, a duplex and a
vacant lot for future expansion. We plan to rent the duplex to
senior citizens as Independent Living apartments, to rennovate
the two bedroom house into an Assisted Living facility, and to
save the vacant lot for future expansion of the assisted living
facility. To achieve these goals, our first Capital Campaign seeks to
raise $1.2 million over the next year by Summer 2008.

Construction Fundraising
We plan a major renovation to the two bedroom house to create five
assisted living studios. Our remodel has been designed by Steve
Wood, a local Architect and an ElderHome volunteer. We plan to raise
$400,000 by Summer 2007 to hire a contractor for the renovation. We
have drilled a new well and completed our septic plans. The building
plans are finished and are ready to be sent out to bid to local
contractors. We hope to complete the renovation and launch the new
facility by the 2007 Holiday season
Mortgage Payoff
After launching our renovated Assisted Living facility, our Capital
Campaign will seek to raise $800,000 to pay off the mortgages. To
become a self-sustaining business, we must eliminate the large monthly
real estate payments.
Long Term Vision
Our water and septic systems are designed to allow the expansion of
the ElderHome from five to fifteen Assisted Living studios. We also
dream of developing an endowment to offer financial assistance to
needy seniors.
